"I am sending in my stead two esteemed and renowned rabbis" – the Satmar Rebbe, praises the distinguished rabbis of Shopron and Kashoi

A sacred letter penned by Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, the Satmar Rebbe, dated in the early 1950s, he expresses that when called upon to visit a specific city to enhance Torah activities and uphold religious values, he, due to his very busy schedule, couldn’t make the journey. Therefore, in his place, he dispatched the two esteemed luminaries: Rabbi Shimon Yisrael Pozen, Rav of Shopron, and Rabbi Raphael Blum, Rav of Kasho.

The Rebbe writes this letter as confirmation and evidence that they were his emissaries, acting on his behalf. The letter reads:
"Therefore, I have seen fit to send in my stead two esteemed, great, and renowned rabbis: the great gaon Rabbi of Shopron, and the great gaon Rabbi of Kasho, and may success come from consulting with the blessed advisors. You shall act together according to their advice."

He concludes the letter with a holy blessing: "And behold, I, his friend, blessed him with strength and a good and blessed year, for the salvation of Klal Yisroel, as his heart wishes”.
