Letter full of brochos of the Satmar Rebbe 1952
Endorsement letter of the Satmar Rebbe Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, for people who went to collect tzedakah for a Talmid Chacham who was ill and his wife was also sick. They had no means to provide for their family, and volunteers undertook the collection of funds to help the family.
The Rebbe writes his brachah towards the end of the letter:
"The zechus of this mitzvah will protect all who help this family, and save them from disease and disaster". The letter is dated Monday Parshas Behaloscha 5712.
The handwritten letter, by the gabbai Reb Yosef Ashkenazi, was signed by the Rebbe during one of the Rebbe’s early years in New York.
