Today Is the Yohrtzeit of My Choshuve Shver, the Heilige Tzaddik, Reb Tzvi Hirsh Zt”l – A Letter from the Rebbetzin, the Tzadekes Freida Friedman A”h, Almana of the Heilige Rebbe Reb Yosef Hakohen of Rimanov Zt”l

A letter written in the holy handwriting of the tzadekes, Rebbetzin Freida A”h, the almana of Reb Yosef Hakohen of Rimanov Zt”l.

The letter was written on the yohrtzeit of her esteemed shver, the heilige Rebbe Reb Tzvi Hirsh Hakohen of Rimanov Zt”l.

She describes that her daughter had visited the tziyon of her Shver:
"Today is the yohrtzeit of my choshuve shver, the heilige tzaddik, Reb Tzvi Hirsh Zt”l. My daughter, the Rebbetzin Malka, went to the tziyon, and I sent kvitlach with her to be mispallel that all those who support me should have yeshuos.
May the Eibishter help that they should indeed be helped with all their bakashos for all yeshuos toivus, for the klal and the prat, in the zechus of my heilige forefathers, Zt”l, and in the zechus of my heilige husband, Zt”l."

She writes about the hardships she has endured and how, due to the matzav of the times (it appears to have been written during World War I), the money that chassidim had sent her not reached her.

Further in the letter, she mentions that her only daughter, the tzadekes Rebbetzin Malka Horowitz, the wife of Reb Asher Yeshaya Horowitz of Dzikov Zt”l, mechaber of
Me’adanei Melech, was presently staying in her home. She writes that her daughter was unable to return home at the moment since she needed a new
pass to travel.

Rebbetzin Malka Friedman of Rimanov A”h – She was the daughter of Reb Avraham of Skver Zt”l, an einikel of
the Baal Shem Tov Hakadosh. She married to Reb Yosef Hakohen of Rimanov, who was the
ben yachid  of the heilige Rebbe Reb Tzvi Hirsh of Rimanov. After his fathers
Petirah, his mother remarried the heilige Ruzhiner, and Reb Yosef was brought up
 in the
bayis neveh kodesh of Ruzhin. He even took on the family name
"Friedman."
