A priceless collection of letters written in the holy handwriting of the great Posek of our generation, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wozner Zt"l, the author of Shevet HaLevi. This collection spans the entirety of his leadership, from his time as a rabbi in Jerusalem, through his early years at Zichron Meir in Bnei Brak, and throughout his later years, totaling about sixty years of leadership. The letters cover every aspect of his rabbinic life, including his efforts in establishing yeshivas, correspondence with leading Torah figures, complex halachic inquiries, public matters, lobbying for various causes, and personal questions. Through these letters, one can gain insight into the great personality of Rabbi Wozner Zt"l and witness the development of the Torah community in the Holy Land.

1. A letter in halacha regarding the killing of a dog: "And the act of holding it without need is a vain and lowly action of people…" Written to Rabbi Tzvi Yevrov in 1985. Printed in Shevet HaLevi (vol. 6, Siman 151). – Official letterhead, in very good condition.

2. A letter of blessing written by Rabbi Wozner to Rabbi Reuven Benges. This letter was written during Rabbi Wozner’s tenure as rabbi in the ‘Kerem Avraham’ neighborhood in Jerusalem (as indicated by the postmark). – Very good condition.

3. A letter of blessing to Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Shulzinger regarding the receipt of his books, filled with heartfelt blessings. Written in 2000. – Official letterhead, very good condition – the envelope with the letter has been preserved, with the recipient’s name written by the hand of Rabbi Wozner.

4. A letter to Shmuel Weinberg, Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak, regarding the prevention of the firing of an elderly mikveh attendant for the sake of Jewish purity, written in 1973. – Official letterhead, very good condition.

5. A letter with a question about whether a son is obligated to wear a shtreimel if his father insists. The response in Rabbi Wozner’s handwriting: "Despite the fact that wearing the shtreimel is not an obligation…". – Very good condition.

6. A continuation of the previous question, where the inquirer asks in greater detail whether a son must listen to his father regarding the shtreimel. Rabbi Wozner responds, "Anyone who brings honor to his parents will never lose out…". – Very good condition.

7. A letter of blessing from Rabbi Wozner with a request to send his new Torah novella regarding the opening of peanuts on Shabbat. – Letterhead, very good condition.

8. A thank-you letter to Rabbi Shlomo Bumgarten for a package he sent, in which Rabbi Wozner requests prayers for his well-being, "Please pray for me that I merit not to stumble…" – Air mail letter, very good condition.

9. A letter of blessing to Rabbi Simcha Binyamin David Sofer for the wedding of his son, with an invitation to a Bar Mitzvah event. – Official letterhead, very good condition.

10. A letter to the ‘Yeshivas Committee’ confirming the establishment of the Karlin-Stolin yeshiva in Bnei Brak, written in 1979. – Official letterhead, very good condition.

11. A letter to Rabbi Kalman Kohana, a leader of the PAI movement, thanking him for assisting in the travel arrangements of his son Abraham Eliahu and guaranteeing that he would return according to the military laws. – Official letterhead, very good condition.

12. A letter of thanks for a donation to the yeshiva building project – written in 1965. – Official letterhead, very good condition.

13. A draft of a letter to the residents of Zichron Meir and the yeshiva students, advising them not to celebrate Purim in Tel Aviv: "This celebration only brings about licentiousness…" – Very good condition.

14. A ruling from 1977 regarding a dispute between two institutions – signed by Rabbi Wozner and Rabbi Nathan Gestetner Zt"l. – Very good condition, names of the parties have been erased.

15. A responsum regarding the law of slander, a halachic discussion with Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Shulzinger – written in 2000. Printed in Shevet HaLevi (vol. 18, Siman 257). – Official letterhead, very good condition.

16. A responsum regarding the Korban Tamid, with Rabbi Moshe Mordechai Shulzinger – written in 2000. Printed in Shevet HaLevi (vol. 18, Siman 122, letter v). – Official letterhead, very good condition.

17. A responsum regarding a Jew wishing to bring closer those distant from mitzvot, and the need to travel to places without a prayer minyan. Rabbi Wozner permits this under certain conditions: "…however, in the absence of a prayer minyan, it is not a transgression for the sake of bringing another closer to Torah." 18. A moving letter written during the founding years of the ‘Chachmei Lublin’ Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, discussing the necessity of a fundraising office in the USA and the financial difficulties: "Baruch Hashem, our yeshiva is progressing in quality and quantity…". – Official letterhead, very good condition.

19. A proposed compromise between Agudas Yisrael and PAI representatives to run together in the Bnei Brak city elections, Rabbi Wozner asserts that all representatives must accept the proposal, as it is the will of Torah. – Very good condition.

20. A letter from the early years of Rabbi Wozner’s tenure in Bnei Brak (circa 1956), reprimanding a Jewish storeowner for desecrating Shabbat.

21.  A Torah novella regarding the laws of Chatzitza (Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh De’ah, Siman 178). Printed in Shevet HaLevi (vol. 6, Siman 135). – Very good condition, large sheet, some creases.

22.  A copy (with possible revisions) from Shu"t Divrei Chaim (Even HaEzer, vol. 2, Siman 31) concerning a case of a donkey in Even HaEzer. – Very good condition, slight minor wear.

23.  A letter of endorsement for the book Birkas Shir V’Shevach, Rabbi Wozner adds his endorsement in his holy handwriting – 1991.
