A
holy letter full of blessings with two signatures, from the renowned Rabbi
Yehoshua Buksbaum of
Galanta, to his nephew, Rabbi Mordechai Buksboim, from Jerusalem.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Buksboim left a lasting impression on his nephew, Rabbi Mordechai Buksbaum, who, in his youth, was swept away by the tumultuous waves of the Communist and Zionist movements, distancing himself from his heavenly Father, However, it was through God’s providence that he found refuge for a time in his uncle’s house, where he was spiritually renewed and returned with a pure heart to serve Hashem. After staying with his revered uncle, he made Aliyah to Eretz Yisroel, where he settled and built his home on strong Jewish principals.

Most of the letter is written in Hungarian, with portions in Hebrew and Yiddish. It includes enthusiastic blessings:
"To learn and teach, to guard and do and fulfill all the words of the Torah, to remove the evil inclination from him, and to understand and contemplate the holy Torah day and night, Amen, Sela, and may it be His will, and let us say Amen."

At the end of the letter, the Gaon expresses his yearning and love for the holy city of Jerusalem, saying:
"Greetings and kissing for the holy city of Jerusalem, may it be rebuilt speedily and in our days."

The holy Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Buksboim, zt"l, of Galanta, was regarded as one of the great and prominent rabbis in Hungary. Hundreds of students flocked from all corners of the country to study at his esteemed yeshiva, and they were profoundly influenced by him throughout their lives, often speaking with longing for their youthful Rabbi, the holy Rabbi of Galanta. He was known for his deep and inspiring sermons, his pleasant prayers that moved all who heard them, and his careful organization of his Shabbat and festival tables.

In excellent condition, three columns on a large page, with two signatures of his holy hand.
