"VeTatzlichu Kasher Ta’asu" – Handwritten Letter by the Imrei Emes of Gur
A holy letter in the sacred handwriting of Admur HaGaon HaKadosh Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter of Gur, the Imrei Emes, zt”l, addressed to Rabbi Mendel Lew. At the opening of the letter, the Rebbe writes:
“…I stand and await to hear good news from your brother, [likely referring to R’ Yosef Lew, Mo"tz of Warsaw]. I have already informed you that I cannot express an opinion regarding the matter of the surgery…”
The Rebbe inquires about his well-being and that of his brother, asks for clarification regarding
the rising costs of commodities, and concludes with his
blessing:
“VeTatzlichu KaAsher Ta’asu” ("And you shall succeed in all that you do").
In the
letter before us, the Rebbe
maintains his approach of refraining from making
decisive statements regarding surgeries.
Entirely in His Sacred Handwriting and Signature!
