Divrei Shalom, Drushim, Venice 1586
Divrei Shalom, thirty drushim on the Torah by Rabbi Yitzchak Adarbi, author of "Divrei Rivos", Venice, 1586-87 – second edition.
In this edition, the glosses of Rabbi Eliezer ben Shabtai were added for the first time.
The renowned Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Adarbi (passed away 7 Iyar 1577), one of the great Geonim of Salonika, served as the Rav of the "Kahal Shalom" community and led a large yeshiva in his city. He was a distinguished student of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Taitatzak along with the Maharsdam. He corresponded with the great scholars of his generation, including the Radbaz (the elder Gaon of his generation). Among his works are the responsa "Divrei Rivos" (frequently cited by the Shach in Choshen Mishpat) and "Divrei Shalom" drushim.
The sefer contains several short handwritten glosses (some slightly trimmed).
