Likutei Halochos by the Chofetz Chaim – with handwritten notes and glosses from the Chazon Ish with his signature
Contains the laws of Korbonos, Temura, Me’ila, etc. by Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaCohen the ‘Chofetz Chaim’, Pioterkow 1913 – first edition – with glosses of the great sage the ‘Chazon Ish’ And his own signature!
On the title page, the names of the tractates that the work deals with are missing, and the Chazon Ish completed them in his own handwriting, also on page 5a there is his signature "ISH", on page 11a there is a two letter comment, at the beginning of tractate Me’ila (p. 4) appears a nice and long comment relating to the words of the Chafetz Chaim – apparently it was never published!
There are very few works of Acharonim that the Chazon Ish used for writing his works, and in general, the exceptions are the books of Chofetz Chaim. This volume ‘Likutei Halochos’ was apparently in frequent use by the Chazon Ish, and was even mentioned in his book (on Zavochim siman 19 par. 5 etc.).
