Rabbi Moshe Zvulun Margaliot (1851–1936) was one of the prominent rabbis in America during his time. He was a distinguished student of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spector. In his youth, he served as the Rav of Slobodka, and after twelve years, he emigrated to America, where he served as Rav in various communities. In 1889, he was appointed as the Rav of Boston, and in 1906, he was called to serve as the Rav of Congregation Adas Yeshurun in New York, one of the most important communities at the time, with over a thousand households. In parallel, he served as the president of many chessed organizations and yeshivas.
