A letter filled with blessings, entirely in the sacred handwriting and signature of the Rebbe, written in acknowledgment of a donation (pidyon).
Written on official letterhead. Very good condition.
The Rebbe, Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai Twersky (5689–5764), was a towering scholar and saintly figure. He assumed leadership after the passing of his father, Rabbi Yochanan, in 5742. Despite his position as one of the great Admorim of the last generation, he conducted himself with extraordinary simplicity and humility.
