Printed in Metz, by the press of Shazef Antoine, 5524 [1764].
This sefer passed through several owners, as evidenced by the numerous handwritten inscriptions found throughout.
On the page preceding the title page, an inscription reads:
"This sefer belongs to the great and sharp talmid chacham… fluent in Torah and commerce, Moreinu Harav Tzvi Hirsch, residing in the holy kehillah of Loshbarin and its surroundings."
On the title page, signatures include:
"Hakatan Tzvi Hirsch ben Moreinu Harav Wolf Tevin."
"Hakatan Moshe Zeidenfeld."
"Signed: Hakatan Mattisyahu Segal, Dayan of the holy kehillah of Takay-Terebes."
On the final page, additional inscriptions:
"Yehuda Aryeh Gross – purchased with my maaser money."
"Hakatan Yehuda Kahn Katz, Ohel, Parshas Behar, Thursday, 5648 [1888]."
"This precious sefer belongs to the distinguished scholar, sharp and accomplished, exalted in Torah and yirah, and widely praised for his greatness, Moreinu Harav Moshe Baabad Zeidenfeld, residing in the holy kehillah of Ohel, may it be established forever, Sunday, Parshas Naso, 5625 [1865]. I, the humble Yisroel Noach Brisk, of Sanye, near Kashoy."
