Letter of approbation signed by the esteemed Rabbanim of the Badatz Eidah Hacharedis of Yerushalayim. It was delivered to Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil Hakohein Schwartz for his printing of the Derech Hachaim Siddur of Rabbi Yaakov of Lisa.
The letter opens with the words: “The approbation of our Rabbanim, ministers of Torah of the Beis Din Tzedek of the Holy City of Yerushalayim.” It appears that the letter was written by Rabbi Yisrael Moshe Dushinsky.
In this letter, the members of the Badatz praise this sacred siddur. They conclude with a blessing that “surely it will bring nachas ruach to the author who shall advocate in the heavens for all who help and assist…”
