Berakhas Avraham – First Edition, Warsaw 1815 – Prominent Jewish Figures in the List of Prenumerants
A pleasant commentary on the Book of Ecclesiastes, by the gaon Rabbi Avraham Avish Katzinalinbogen, Dayan and Magid Mesharim in the city of Sakhatchov, explaining the great level of the soul and how a person should conduct themselves throughout their life on this earth.
The book was printed in Warsaw in the year 1815, by the printer Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch ben Nathan Melotermersk.
Condition: Good, with a new and ornate binding.
At the beginning of the book are several pages of enthusiastic endorsements from the great Torah leaders of the time, including the gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, a letter of approval from Rabbi Aharon Leib Chaim Zintz of Płock, and others.
Following these, there are two pages of prenumerants from the cities of Warsaw, Prague, Sakhatchov, and Stryków. Afterward, the publisher’s introduction appears, written by the author’s son.
The list of prenumerants includes many prominent figures from Warsaw, such as Rabbi Moshe Shlomo Zalman, Av Beit Din of Krakow, the gaon Rabbi Aharon Leib Chaim Zintz of Płock, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman of Yarisalov and his son Rabbi Yaakov Moshe (father of the author of "Hevei B’Shem" from Prague), Rabbi Shlomo Eiger and his father-in-law, and many others.
