The Holy Zohar Sfarim – Slavuta-Zhitomir
Zohar Chadash, on the Five Sfarim of the Torah, the Five Megillos, and Tikunim and Midrash HaNihilim, printed in Slavuta in the year 1793. One of the
first sfarim to be printed at the Slavuta printing house established by the holy Rabbi Moshe Shapira, son of the holy Rabbi Pinchas of Karitz.
The safer was brought to the printing press by his brother: "The renowned Torah scholar and great Chassid, Rabbi Yitzchak Chaim ben Rabbi Pinchas Shapira of Karitz, z"l."
The introduction to the safer contains approbations from the rabbis of Ostroh.
This is a complete copy: As in rare copies, there is page 123 at the end, including two rare pages of "Pirushei HaMilos from the Great Zohar and Zohar Chadash, " which were added only in some copies.
Condition: Good, some text on the title page is worn out, paper is stuck on the title page and the following page, simple binding.
This copy was owned by the Beis Midrash of [name omitted].
The Holy Zohar, Slavuta 1798, on Vayikra, Bamidbar, and Devarim.
This is the first Zohar and one of the first sfarim printed at the Slavuta printing house, printed before the Zohar on Bereishis and Shemos. It was printed in the same years as the "Tanya Kaddisha, " "Noam Elimelech, " and "Kedushas Levi." With the famous frame that appeared only during these years. It is well-known that the Baal HaTanya worked hard to print his sfarim specifically at the printing house of Rabbi Moshe Shapira, z"l.
Complete, condition: Fair, paper stuck on the title page, no binding, pages and parts detached from each other.
