Pardes David – Zulzbach, 1786 – First Edition
Book: Pardes David, sermons on the weekly Torah portions, with interpretations in the plain meaning, aggadah, and scholarly analysis by Rabbi David Dishvach. The book includes innovations from his son-in-law Rabbi Yaakov Schwabach, the rabbi of the Schwarzwald communities, and from the author’s grandson, Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Yaakov Shmuel.
At the end of the book, there is a farewell sermon by the author to the community of Metz, as well as a rhymed poem with an acrostic of the scribe’s name and the book’s title. Published by Rabbi Aharon and his son Rabbi Ze’kel, first edition, Zulzbach, 1786.

Rabbi David ben Rabbi Yoel Dishvach (1705–1794) served as the rabbi and head of the Yeshiva in the community of Meringen and later as the rabbi in the communities of Payersdorf and the surrounding regions.
